Money.co.uk sold for $2.4 Million

Accroding to published reports today the domain, Money.co.uk sold for $2.4 Million Dollars.

This is a record price for a .co.uk or any country code.

Just a month ago cruises.co.uk was sold for over 1 million.

    That is a full price to pay, but good all round for the industry.

    Saw it yesterday as well. There’s zero credibility in a digg title and a couple of lines that any four year old could have posted there.

    I think that’s a great price to pay – this will definitely help the industry as the Internet advertising continues to grow. AS a person with many sites for sale, and seeking to sell my portfolio which is partially listed at educationbeyond.com, I hope this trend continues!

    Money.co.uk sells for a GREAT amount of Money – that proves what I have known already that you do NOT need to won a .com to make great amount of $$$$ as a domain name owner.

    I hope that many more domain name owners WAKE UP and aim for the one which has NOT been taken.
