Actually at the show there was a lot of video art which had a group of flat screens showing a video loop of what they call art. In one case it was water coming out of a faucet. There was also some that just had words or phrases repeating on the screen, so your idea about domains may be more realistic than you thought. Maybe you should put something together an exhibit next year at the art show.

First off congrats on your new domain blog, it makes for some great reading.

In regards to this post you have given a great comparison to something that I more than likely would not have thought of.

I know that paintings give pleasure to the owners sitting on their walls at home. They can show them off to their friends that come over for dinner etc

But heck you can do the same with a domain name.
All you need is a large wall mounted flat screen tv with a connection to the internet and have your browser open to your website.

That way you can not only say “Look at my beautiful website it only cost me $1.65 million” you can also add “and it makes me $20,000 a month in income” now that would get a conversation going wouldn’t it. LOL

Of course I am joking but the comparison between the two is great and has given me some great ideas.
